DraftKings users can now purchase better parlay odds through a new $20 per month subscription service, as first reported by Sportico.

DraftKings is the first sportsbook to offer a subscription service. The service was quietly launched in New York on December 28, according to news reports.

The subscription service was designed to provide our customers with an enhanced fan experience, creating more excitement and value for our extensive Parlay offering.
As reported in September, DraftKings CEO Jason Robbins said he would consider Alternative routes to avoid jurisdictions with high sports betting taxes – Like New York for example, with a tax rate of 51%.
In August, DraftKings proposed implementing a tax on winning bets in states with higher tax rates, but dropped the idea within two weeks.
Widespread expansion in popularity of Parlez
No word from DraftKings on the rollout of the subscription offering in other states. Finally, bookmakers can make longer term bets potentially more attractive. Parlay bets are also a rapidly expanding area of profitability for sportsbooks, due to aggressive advertising by sportsbooks like DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM.
According to Flutter Entertainment, the company that owns FanDuel, more than 262 million 'same game' bets were placed globally on Flutter's key brands in the final quarter of 2023 – nearly 75% more than the same period in 2022.
